INTERMEDIATE BURLESQUE

Striptease Techniques with Penny Starr, Jr.
Sundays, March 28th to May 2nd, 11am to 12:30pm

In this series, you are going to learn the beginning steps to choreographing your
own moves combination, striptease techniques with different garments, and how to
make shimmy belt to shake during the final class,
which ends an in-studio recital for your friends and family!

Requirements for this class are:
being able to move in heels
the sewing skills equivalent to sewing on a button
being able to smile and breathe at the same time

Also included in this series, free access to the costume workshop

a 2nd class may be added upon demand

SHAKE IT WHEN YOU MAKE IT:
SHIMMY BELT CONSTRUCTION

This costume workshop shows you how to make a fringed shimmy belt
with appliques and beaded fringe tassles. A must-have skill for any dancer,
be it burlesque, belly dance, samba or showgirl!
And all your need is the sewing skill equivalent of sewing on a button!
Price includes all materials needed including belt form, fringe,
aplliques, beaded fringe, needles an thread (please bring your own scissors)

FREE to all students enrolled in Intermediate Classes
($40 materials fees will collected on first day of class)

$50 early-bird discount until April 1st
$60 from April 1st to 9th (No registration after April 9th)

please arrive 5 min early to check-in

*class 'costume' should be fitted t-shirt or tank,
workout pants or shorts, and dance shoes
(any high heel, broken-in)

* no make-up classes or refunds
